A 12-year-old junior lifeguard is being hailed as a hero for his efforts to help save five people who were thrown from a boat off the coast of Oceanside, California. Officials say the 12-year-old was on another boat with his family and jumped into action to help coordinate the rescue and gave one of the victims first aid for a leg injury.
