OFP: Agentic AI Standard for Hallucination Mitigation and Multi-Agent Collaboration - Diego Gosmar, Voiceinteroperability.ai, LF AI and Data
In this session, we’ll explore the Open Floor Protocol (OFP), demonstrating how its open, platform-agnostic messaging enables seamless multi-agent collaboration and, through dynamic fact-checking workflows, effectively mitigates hallucinations in Generative and Agentic AI scenarios. We’ll dive into the key concepts behind OFP, walk through a live demonstration of agents working together to verify and refine responses, and discuss how this framework can be applied to real-world use cases.
Developed by the Linux Foundation AI & Data’s Voiceinteroperability.ai Initiative, Open Floor Protocol 1.0 (together with its companion Dialog Events 1.0.2 and Assistant Manifest 1.0) defines an Open Vendor Independent, Natural-language-based API through which any conversational Agents publish their capabilities to a shared “floor,” then discover and invite other agents to collaborate. We will see how OFP not only simplifies cross-platform communication among AI assistants but also raises the bar for trust in conversational AI.
