Officers responding to a shoplifting call at a Target in Redmond, Washington detained a homeless man with an outstanding warrant who said he stole winter clothing after his antibiotics were taken and he was living in the cold. After medics transported him to the hospital for a hand infection police purchased the coat and snow pants for him before transport.
