Status of DTS Validation in Linux Kernel - Krzysztof Kozlowski, Qualcomm
Great benefit of the Devicetree bindings in the current DT schema format is validation of the correctness of DTS (DT sources) against the bindings. However once the validation was introduced, we found that in-kernel DTS simply does not pass it.
Few years and thousands of commits later: what is the status of current in-kernel DTS validation? Which architectures out of main Devicetree users are warning free (spoiler: there is!)? Which SoCs subsystems are doing well and have compliant DTS?
The talk will shortly describe current status of Linux kernel DTS validation efforts.
