President Trump has reiterated his warning to Iran, saying they'll be "hit very hard" by the US if they start killing protesters.
Activist groups says as many as 19 people have been killed in the last eight days of protests over the ailing economy. Iran's government has announced it will give every citizen a monthly allowance, the equivalent of just over £5, to alleviate the economic pressure.
