_"My rig for the day was pretty much the same rig I use in every video! The Fender Ultra Luxe Vintage Strat is pretty new for me, but I've bonded with it really fast. Almost all the tones are with the volume rolled down a little. The pedals that were on are the Origin FX Cali 76, the Ibanez TS808 going into a Thorpy Dane - all set quite low gain. And there's a tiny bit of delay from the Strymon EC-1. The amp is the Victory Duchess MKII - the 40w lunchbox version - into the matching cab. I set it on the edge of a little break up. I was getting some really musical feedback sat so close to it which I tried to use on some of the chords. Absolutely loved the sound we were getting."_

_"This rig is my go to rig, I can get 98% of all sounds I need from it and in this case, and in most cases, it ends up being that the less I use the better it sounds and the more it projects out in a final mix. I always have a Cali76 on, not necessarily to compress the signal, but to lift it out off the speaker. I kept it simple, Cali, The Dane, El Capistan and a bit of Flint. I always think about what sound I am looking for in my head for the song and then try to play and get that out my fingers, might be psychosomatic, but that’s me. I love the rig and the sounds it gives and as I mention, I can get 98% of what I need with it."_
