Netanyahu Announces Trump as Winner of 'Israel Prize' #shorts
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu flattered President Trump by announcing Monday afternoon that he would win next year's "Israel Prize" — inviting him to collect the cultural honor in-person in April.
"We decided to break a convention... to award the Israel Prize, which, in almost our 80 years, we've never awarded it to a non-Israeli, and we're going to award it this year to President Trump," Netanyahu said of the award, which honors contributions to literature, arts and Jewish studies, among other categories.
