
Tanzania president re-elected in disputed vote marred by deadly protests
Tanzanian president Samia Suluhu Hassan has been re-elected with more than 97% of the vote, after her two main rivals were prevented from running.

The vote took place amid mass protests across the country as demonstrators tried to stop votes from being counted, troops were brought in to help impose control.
It's thought a large number of people were killed or injured in the crackdown but the authorities have refused to give any details.
