We’ve all heard of the classic man cave—a place to watch sports, hang out with mates, while drinking a beer. But this man took it to another level.
Beneath his house, in the crawl space of his basement, he’s built a fully functional miniature excavation site. Kitted out with remote-control excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks—some of which even puff out realistic diesel smoke from their tiny exhaust pipes.
There’s no clear end goal to the digging—he’s not building anything, just moving dirt around for the sheer satisfaction of it.
He hauls the dirt out, and when he’s running low, he hauls it back in and to prevent dust getting into the air he breathes, he made a window he can open & close to keep the dust on the construction side.
And just like that, the world’s smallest mine, became the ultimate man cave.
