Metagenomi is working to transform the future of genetic medicine by leveraging the power of AWS and nature to discover potentially curative gene editing therapies. They worked with the AWS Prototyping team to scale their AI capabilities to analyze their entire database of 15+ billion proteins from the start of their discovery process. Using Guidance for Protein Folding on AWS, and services like AWS Batch and Inferentia, Metagenomi has accelerated the speed it takes to find the right proteins — at about a fifth of what it cost previously. Partnering with AWS has accelerated Metagenomi’s efforts to fundamentally change how we treat genetic diseases — from simply managing symptoms, to potentially curing the underlying causes.
