
'Around 40' people killed and 115 injured in Swiss ski resort bar fire
Investigators in Switzerland are working to identify the victims of the fire which raged through a crowded bar in the Alpine resort of Crans-Montana during a New Year's Eve party.
Around 40 people were killed and 115 others were injured, many of them seriously, according to authorities. Patients are being treated at several hospitals nearby, some as young as 15, according to a local doctor. It's still not known what caused the blaze.
The Swiss president said the country would be holding five days of official mourning.
