French police have arrested five more people in connection with the raid on the Louvre museum, where crown jewels worth an estimated €88 million were stolen earlier this month.

A public prosecutor said DNA evidence led to one of the arrests, in the Paris area last night.
She said two people who were previously arrested had 'partially admitted' their role in the heist, in which a gang, dressed as workmen, broke in through a window while the gallery was open.
