NASA is preparing for the first ever medical evacuation of the International Space Station and bring home all four Crew-11 astronauts early after one of them developed a “medical issue” that needs to be addressed. Because of medical privacy rules, NASA won’t identify the astronaut or the medical concern, but describes the astronaut as stable. NBC’s Tom Costello reports and former astronaut Mike Massimino joins TODAY to share his insight into the unprecedented move.
