California Prop 50 projected to pass, redrawing congressional map in favor of Democrats

BREAKING: California's Proposition 50, redrawing the congressional map to make five districts more Democratic-leaning, will pass, ABC News projects.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom had proposed the ballot measure after Texas Republicans, encouraged by President Trump, revised their maps in a rare mid-decade redistricting move that could allow Republicans to gain five seats in 2026.
