I Quit My $390K/Year Job At Google For A Mini Retirement In Switzerland

Florence Poirel, 37, quit her six-figure job at Google to take a mini retirement in Switzerland. After climbing the corporate ladder for over a decade, she realized she wanted a slower life. With over a million dollars in savings, thanks to her discovery of the FIRE movement, she felt ready to take a brief career break and now spends her days enjoying life in her idyllic Switzerland town by a lake.
