Disney+ and Hulu recreated The McCallister home from Home Alone in gingerbread form! They officially broke the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title from 2013.
The house is a gigantic 25.6 feet tall, 42 feet wide, and 58 feet long, with ingredients including 5,700 pounds of flour and over 4,200 eggs. Expert bakers created 4,400 gingerbread brick tiles and 800 roof tiles, all held together with 20 gallons of edible glue and finished with 20 pounds of fondant.
The installation will be open to the public on the evenings of December 18 (from 6:00 - 9:30pm) and December 19 (from 4:30 - 9:30pm) at Hollywood and Vine in Los Angeles, California (weather dependent). In the spirit of the season, there will also be a Toys for Tots gift drive, so consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy to donate!
