The Times Square’s New Year’s Eve ball got a makeover with fresh Waterford crystals before the big 2026 drop. Workers can be seen removing old pieces from the permeant installation and replacing them with new crystals. The President of Waterford Crystal said there are 5,280 discs covering the ball.
