Painting The (Forgotten) 1979 Far-Right Massacre
The Greensboro Massacre was the result of a collaboration between klansmen, nazis and the police. On November 3rd 1979, 5 anti-klan activists, 4 of which were members of the communist party, were killed. Aliene de Souza Howell painted scenes of the event 20 years after they happened.
