The mystery of how Mark Blanco fell to his death has remained unsolved for nearly two decades.
In 2006, the amateur actor fell from a balcony at a gathering in East London after an argument with rock star Pete Doherty and his friends.
This morning Mark Blanco's mother Sheila met senior City of London Police officers to ask them to reopen the case after the Metropolitan Police stopped investigating.
Pete Doherty has always denied any involvement in Mark Blanco's death.
In her only TV interview, Sheila Blanco says she now feels closer to the truth than ever.
